Why I’m building Klyron
As someone self-employed, I wanted to understand how my working hours were spread across projects and tasks. Tracking time should help me do that with as little effort as possible.
That wish became Klyron: an app for recording work quickly and understanding how it adds up over time.
What matters to me
Klyron should stay out of your way. A clear interface, short paths, and native features on Apple devices help make that possible.
Your projects and time entries are your business. That’s why Klyron requires no separate user account and includes no advertising or analytics SDKs.
Developer and author
Alongside my apps, I write about Swift and developing for Apple platforms. The fifth edition of my German-language Swift handbook was published in early 2026.
Developing and writing go together for me: both mean thinking through complex things and making them easier to understand.
